KEIC is proud to be associated with this prestigious project which is now being implemented in Mesaieed by M/s Smeet Precast Factory, and this facility is one of the largest integrated production facilities in Qatar. 

Complete design for this project, commencing from Master Planning of the site upto detailed design and tender documentation was carried out fully in-house by our company.  Currently, we are supervising the construction, which is nearing completion.

This is a precast manufacturing factory complex sitting on a 302,141 sqm. land in Mesaieed Industrial City - Gabbro Area.  It showcases three factory buildings with a total floor area of 54,343 sqm., with the third building to be constructed for future expansion. 

Ancillary buildings in support to factory operation include batching plants, aggregate storages, batching plants and a huge stockyard.  Aside from the two access gates for truck entry and another two gates for truck exit provided, there is a main gate for private vehicular access leading to a 2-storey Office Building of about 3,816 sqm in floor area.  Other support structures include a Cafeteria/Prayer Room for the workers, Vehicle Workshop, Warehouse, Fuel Filling Station, Weighing Bridge, Substations and Water Tank with Pump Room.  The complex is also provided with 51 parking spaces for trucks, 9 parking spaces for buses and 114 car parking spaces.

The total area of the project site is 52,508 sq.m and the proposed construction comprise The total built-up area for Phase I is 13,516 sq.m. and the current utilized area including the future expansion is 30,158 sq.m.

The works involved various surveys, investigations and studies related to the project. On the electrical side, it involved construction of six sub-stations within the site to cater for various units of the factory.
