This project comprised the design and construction, completion and maintenance of a Warehousing complex comprising of Freezer and chilled store, Temperature controlled store, Dry store, Accommodation Block, Service Block, Main office Block, Drivers/office Block etc., in Street 15 at the Industrial Area in Doha.  GEIC was responsible for developing the concept design, master plan, detailed design including all associated architectural, electrical and mechanical works and external works.

KEIC was also responsible for the supervision of construction of this prestigious project. The constructed facility is of one of the largest warehousing complexes in the Middle East, with the state of the art equipment.  The construction called for high precision works for super-flat floors to carry the VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) and equipment servicing racks with 43,780 pallet positions, upto 13.5 m in height. Auxiliary facilities installed within the warehouse include a positive power air system within the warehouse to significantly reduce dust contamination and humidity levels, complete coverage with CCTV, Personnel swipe card system to manage access, ATMS Warehouse Management System (WMS) with fast multi-transaction capability, full RF bar coding technology and Stock Track Plus giving complete visibility of goods from receipt to dispatch.
